USAID-KCDMS

In 2019, EHL partnered with RTI under the Kenya Crop and Dairy Market Activity funded by USAID- Feed The Future. The Project `Western Kenya Passion Fruit Competitiveness Project is being implemented in four counties in Western Kenya namely: Kakamega, Bungoma, Vihiga and Kisii. In this regions EHL seeks to recruit more farmers to supply us quality passion fruit to meet the market demand. The project involves setting up of spray teams, providing agronomic advice, setting up of collection centres and purchasing farm produce from the farmers in the new regions thus improving their productivity, income and livelihoods.

KCSAP- UASIN GISHU

Since 2019, EHL is one of the service providers for the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the county government of Uasin Gishu. EHL is a service provider in the Irish Potato value chain working with farmers, County agricultural Officers and CDDCs to improve productivity of potato in Uasin Gishu. At the end of the Project its expected that farmers will have improved their efficiency in production and as a result make more money from the potato venture. Its worth noting that potato is the 2nd most important crop in Kenya.

KCSAP-ELGEYO MARAKWET

Since 2019, EHL is one of the service providers for the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet. EHL is a service provider in the Irish Potato value chain working with farmers, County agricultural Officers and CDDCs to improve productivity of potato in Elgeyo Marakwet. At the end of the Project its expected that farmers will have improved their efficiency in production and as a result make more money from the potato venture. Its worth noting that potato is the 2nd most important crop in Kenya. EHL will also purchase the produce from the farmers to meet our markets demand.
